About Ledgie:

Ledges ("Ledgie") is owned by Angie McClelland of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Ledgie's sire is a Holsteiner who was shown Grand Prix jumping in the U.S. under the name Alleged. Her dam, Hypothetical, is a Thoroughbred mare with Nearco in her pedigree. Angie bought Ledgie from her breeders, the Hudson family of Lincoln, NE, in 2002 when she was four years old.

Ledgie was inspected and approved for breeding through the GOV, and was bred to Galeno Tyme in 2003, producing the 2004 filly Galena. Angie would certainly be willing to breed to Galeno Tyme again, since he consistently passes along beautiful toplines and amazing personalities to his foals. Angie would also consider embryo transfer if there is a demand.

This mare is very much an extrovert and extremely smart. She has been dubbed "the barn's social secretary" because she's always keeping an eye on what's going on and inevitably has a comment about it. Riding her is definitely an intellectual exercise along with the challenge of channeling all that power and elasticity. Angie and Ledgie are currently working in a double bridle, schooling third level movements. Future plans are to show FEI Dressage.
