Galeno Tyme

Performance:

Galeno Tyme's debut came at his 2004 Stallion Performance Test, which earned him the honor of holding the highest score in the history of the North American testing, and the third highest score worldwide! (Read more about the 2004 Testing here.) Even after a 5-point age handicap deduction, Galeno's record-setting Overall Index of 155.87 stands alone. His individual scores for Jumping (152.19) and Dressage (144.54) place him among a handful of stallions world-wide to ever achieve such marks (for one discipline, much less both). He demonstrates a unique and brilliant jumping ability, while also scoring 10s from dressage test riders at his Stallion Performance Test. Galeno's outstanding success has not come as a surprise, knowing that he (although quite accidentally) offered piaffe in his very first under-saddle experience. Due to this incredible versatility in both Dressage and Jumping, Galeno Tyme is expected to be trained and competed in both FEI Dressage and FEI Jumping.

Lineage:

Galeno Tyme's sire, Granulit, was the 1995 Stallion Performace Test champion in Neustadt/Dosse. He gained the title 1-a Main Premium Champion Stallion with four approved sons early on. His full brother, Great Tyme, with Jillian Southerland of Canada, is shortlisted with the Canadian Olympic Dressage Team. Their sire, Grannus, was one of the most supreme sires of International Show Jumping of all time. Their dam, the grey mare Raggio Di Luna, came from the renowned mare line Finnlanderin, of the famous Vornholz Stud Farm. Her sire, Romanow, was an International Grand Prix Puissance competitor, as well as a producer of dams of sires. Galeno Tyme's dam, Geranda, produced many premium foals in Germany before coming to North America. In 2003, she produced the highest scoring filly in North America for the Oldenburg stallion Any Tyme. In 2004, she foaled an equally exceptional full sister. Both fillies express beautiful uphill self-carriage, engagement, and elasticity, and are the same fabulous type of their dam's line.

Offspring:

Galeno Tyme's offspring consistently show his trademark superior rideability and trainability. As foals, they demonstrate quietly modest but extremely loose movement in pasture. We now have 4- and 5-year olds under saddle, and they are true-to-form of the rideability of the G-line. They are extremely easy to start, but with tremendous talent, and they come out in a naturally uphill and soft Grand Prix frame. Training Galeno Tyme's offspring is uncomplicated and they progress very quickly with smart and eager minds.
